HOW TO MAKE FONDANT BABY CONVERSE SHOES

So what do you think? Easy? Hard? Do you think you can do it now, he he. It took me quite a while, obviously it was my first time, and just getting the template right was a bit hard. I still need to work at it more, but overall I think for my first time, I am very pleased.

To check out the COMPLETED cake, it is SO cute, make sure to check it out here:

Now why don't you show me what you've been up to this week!

  8. Those baby converse are great! I have only made two cakes with fondant: a wedding cake for Q and U when my son's kindergarten class married them (absolutely hilarious!), and a Millenium Falcon. But those shoes were more work with the fondant than I have ever done.

My photo
In my spare time I enjoy cooking, and baking. In fact my mother and I have been making cakes for over 30 years. I also love gardening, traveling, and all things crafty. I struggle daily to keep my like organized, along with my never ending battle to keep the house clean. I adore my three kids MOST of the time, and can usually be found doing the mom thing from morning till night. I try to catch a few mommy moments, but those are hard to find in this wonderful life of mine. I am blessed and happy, and am thrilled you stopped by today :)
