She won all seven prizes, and I can't wait to hear how much she adores them. I can focus on my blog again, and stop bugging people about my giveaway, (sorry everyone for all the reminders). I am thrilled at how it all went, and am so lucky for all of you. Thank you again.

As promised my Candle Stick Christmas Tree Tutorial

I decorated MY MANTLE last week, and made two of these cute, and easy trees. I can't believe I never did this before.

First of all everything I used, I already had on hand. Really made this an awesomely cheap project, FREE, my absolute FAVORITE.

It took me a whole 3 minutes, to do, another HUGE plus.
I hope you guys enjoy, and let me know what you think. If I inspire you to make some, shoot me some pics, I would love to see them.
My FREE Christmas Tree Candle Holder

I told you these were stuffed in a corner, and YES that is a very dead plant.

My materials,,, I got those awesome apple decorations several years ago on clearance. 4 for a dollar, I think, anyway I bought all they had, so I have like 30 of them,, he he. Too heavy for the christmas tree though, so I usually do other things with them.

Clearly just string them to the nail.

Shove the wooden base (thank goodness) to the nail, and there you go.

Easy, took a whole MINUTE to do.

This is how I've had these little trees, for YEARS now, actually haven't even put them out for many years, just never took the time to do anything cute with them before. Sad, I know.

Straighten the branches out now.

Added that red pipe cleaner, under the trunk.

Then added the string of pearls, (he he) for the perfect little pop. Love it.

Plain, but much better, so happy with this project.

The smallest ornaments possible. I NEVER put them on the tree, they get lost, they are so small, BUT now they are perfect for these little trees, THANKS mom.

Pretty FABULOUS, for being FREE. I am HAPPY!!

Bella's Mantle ~~ featuring the candle stick Christmas Trees

How much do you guys love FREE decorating? How much???
There are not many things I love more than making new things from things I already have.
Not spending any money is awesome, even if you have it to spend, I don't believe in spending just because.
In the spirit, of ALWAYS making do, I created this Christmas mantle, of course with all things I already own. I bought some red candle sticks from goodwill, last year, and they have sadly been stuffed into a corner, and been forgotten about. I've had these little Christmas tree for years, and hardly ever put them out. I got them, with the pearls, and pipe cleaner, and that's how they've stayed since, UNTIL now.

Check out my NEW Chritmas Mantle, and I didn't spend a dime.

***Tutorial on the cute CANDLE STCK CHRISTMAS tree coming soon.***

~~~Merry Christmas~~~
Piano Mantle~~ Bethlehem Village
Slowly but surely, I am getting some decorations out. This is my nativity set, and it's pretty huge.
I used to display it on a side buffet table, but I don't have that anymore, so this year I put it up on my
PIANO.
Had to raise some of it up a bit, but overall, I think it turned out alright.
I really enjoy moving all the people around, its fun, and the little village looks so pretty glowing at night. Of course these pics were taken during the day, and I couldn't get a good pic of the glowing, but you guys get the idea right?
Oh and I deep cleaned under, behind, and all around this piano, too. Yikes, spiders just love making home under things like this don't they??
Oh and the little knobs that you open and close the piano lid, were broken, SO I improvised, stuck a bamboo skewer in there, and then screwed the little knobs back in, worked wonders until a more permanent solution is found.
The picture above the piano got a quick makeover, as well. I just hung this beautiful picture of Mother Mary, and Baby Jesus. My mom brough this back from Jeruselem, when she visited. I am Orthodox, so we have TONS of these kinds of paintings, and pictures, in our churches.
So what do you guys think????
Darn light, everything is getting washed out, without flash, too dark, with flash, blahhhh....
Baby Jesus. Merry Christmas everybody!!
See what I mean, the guy I bought this piano from just stuck these knobs in there, and well, you guessed it, they just fell right out.
Jamming the skewer in there, good, now stay!!!
Much better grip, worked just fine.
My dorky little knobs are back on, at least I can close the lid again, that thing was getting dusty.
BEFORE
AFTER, isn't this beautiful??
Hope you guys enjoyed, my Piano Mantle.
My photo
In my spare time I enjoy cooking, and baking. In fact my mother and I have been making cakes for over 30 years. I also love gardening, traveling, and all things crafty. I struggle daily to keep my like organized, along with my never ending battle to keep the house clean. I adore my three kids MOST of the time, and can usually be found doing the mom thing from morning till night. I try to catch a few mommy moments, but those are hard to find in this wonderful life of mine. I am blessed and happy, and am thrilled you stopped by today :)
