Amaze me August #15 ~~ Candle Stick Christmas Tree Tutorial

Now that my giveaway is over and done with, YAY to Ashley - Cute as a FOX, for coming over to say hello, becoming one of my newest followers, and supporting me on my giveaway. She won all seven prizes, and I can't wait to hear how much she adores them. I can focus on my blog again, and stop bugging people about my giveaway, (sorry everyone for all the reminders). I am thrilled at how it all went, and am so lucky for all of you. Thank you again.

As promised my Candle Stick Christmas Tree Tutorial

I decorated MY MANTLE last week, and made two of these cute, and easy trees. I can't believe I never did this before.

First of all everything I used, I already had on hand. Really made this an awesomely cheap project, FREE, my absolute FAVORITE.

It took me a whole 3 minutes, to do, another HUGE plus.
I hope you guys enjoy, and let me know what you think. If I inspire you to make some, shoot me some pics, I would love to see them.
My FREE Christmas Tree Candle Holder

I told you these were stuffed in a corner, and YES that is a very dead plant.

My materials,,, I got those awesome apple decorations several years ago on clearance. 4 for a dollar, I think, anyway I bought all they had, so I have like 30 of them,, he he. Too heavy for the christmas tree though, so I usually do other things with them.

Clearly just string them to the nail.

Shove the wooden base (thank goodness) to the nail, and there you go.

Easy, took a whole MINUTE to do.

This is how I've had these little trees, for YEARS now, actually haven't even put them out for many years, just never took the time to do anything cute with them before. Sad, I know.

Straighten the branches out now.

Added that red pipe cleaner, under the trunk.

Then added the string of pearls, (he he) for the perfect little pop. Love it.

Plain, but much better, so happy with this project.

The smallest ornaments possible. I NEVER put them on the tree, they get lost, they are so small, BUT now they are perfect for these little trees, THANKS mom.

Pretty FABULOUS, for being FREE. I am HAPPY!!
